Products Division, your primary responsibility is to help software developers create high-performance C++/Java
applications for Android with Intel INDE that run on ARM and run best on Intel architecture-based devices.
The successful candidate should have knowledge of multi-media software and general software development skills.
Knowledge of various media frameworks, GPU programming, optimization techniques, parallelization,
and/or knowledge of Intel architecture preferred.

As a customer-facing representative, the Technical Consulting Engineer (TCE) candidate must have
superior communications skills both written and verbal. The TCE works directly with customers on a daily basis
and therefore must have the ability to work with people one-to-one to understand and resolve problems.
We are willing to train the right candidate - communication skills and interpersonal skills are key.

Behavioral traits for this position include:

o       Interpersonal skills
o       Strong collaboration, written and verbal communication skills
o       Strong analytical and problem solving skills

Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements:

o       Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline such as computer engineering, electrical engineering or in computer science

Preferred Qualifications:

o       Experience with video processing, ideally via codec or video application development
o       Experience with developing applications for multiple OSes including Windows, Linux, and Android platforms
o       Experience with performance tuning
o       Strong organizational skills, ability to multitask, be creative and innovative
o       Customer facing experience is highly desirable

Business Group The Intel Software and Services Group (SSG) connects Intel to the worldwide software community.
SSG strives to bring competitive advantage to Intel platforms by helping independent software vendors,
operating system developers, OEMs, channel members and systems integrators deliver exceptional customer value
and achieve differentiation on Intel® processor technologies. SSG provides global leadership to the software community
through its technical expertise, industry enabling activities, and developer products and programs.

The candidate will be part of the Performance Client & Visual Computing (PCV) group whose vision is to ignite visual
computing developer excitement and new user-experiences on Intel platforms with products that unleash full platform programming.
