Qualifications: Degree qualified web developer. Ability to work on both
front and back end with excellent knowledge of PHP application frameworks
using PHP 5.3. , HTML5; CSS3; MongoDB; MySQL; ElasticSearch; JQuery.
Knowledge of third party API integration (CRM, FB, Twitter, Get
Satisfaction, e-commerce) and how to aggregate content from third parties
(flickr, news feeds & blogs etc) are also important.  Knowledge of tempting
language Twig, the open source search engine ElasticSearch, and also SASS
would be a bonus but are not mandatory.

eBusiness Club presents: Idea Jam (Feb. 24-26)

Goal:
Foster collaboration between disciplines (IT, Entrepreneurial, Public Relations, Advertising,
Product Design, etc.) to present a new idea in a “start-up weekend” event.

Structure:
Idea Jam kicks off by giving participants the opportunity to present a new idea. Teams form
around these ideas to develop them over the remainder of the weekend. Sunday culminates in
team presentations, judging, and prize/award presentations.

AWWA - Phone app programmer (Eugene, OR)

A group of water industry professionals are involved in a phone app
committee that is coming up with an outline that will ultimately be a
training tool for water treatment and distribution operators.  We would
like to partner with a local college here in Eugene to fill the need for a
programmer to help lead the committee and ultimately program the app for
us.

AWWA is the industry leader in water and wastewater technology.  We network
and provide training for water engineering, construction, operation and
maintenance, and laboratory regulation and compliance.  As we are a
non-profit organization,  Students who assist with this project will get a
free membership in the organization as well as valuable experience and
networking opportunities working with other professionals in Eugene.  Also,
this phone app will receive national recognition in our organization and
assist in the professional development of thousands of operations
personnel.
