Job Title: IT Support Analyst III (R11-242)

The IT Support Analyst performs at a full professional level within a team
of IT professionals in IT Application Shared Services. The Support Analyst
possesses a specialized knowledge in two or more areas of PGE's technology
and application
environment. This support position is responsible for administration and
some development on all aspects of the IT Application Shared Services
SharePoint, TeamSite / OpenDeploy environments, including design,
development, scripting development, architecture, availability,
reliability, performance, monitoring and security.

PGE has an existing SharePoint WSS3 platform and is migrating to a
SharePoint 2010 platform, as part of an operational efficiency effort. As
such, there is a requirement for an articulate, highly skilled individual
to undertake a key development role within the team.

The individual will join a team acting as the SharePoint support area,
providing solution architecture leadership; application configuration,
custom application development services; 2nd and 3rd level support;
training, best practice, governance, controls and advice to other projects
and teams for deployment to this SharePoint platform. They will balance
client needs with IT organizational needs for efficient operations and
appropriate low cost, effective solutions.

The individual will join the team as the primary support person for PGE's
internet web platform and intranet presence and tools and technologies.

This is the primary Web Collaboration and Content Management support
resource, and we are looking for someone who wants to take ownership in a
highly visible role.

Typical Qualifications: 5+ years with bachelor's degree in related area
with the operation and development experience in collaboration and content
management solutions including Sharepoint and TeamSite; Perform typical
application administration activities such as site creation, user training,
documentation, and issue resolution; Microsoft SharePoint 2007,
2010 preferred, and familiarity with upgrading to Sharepoint 2010 - 3 or
more years in a large environment; Development in .Net, SharePoint,
TeamSite is required; Development of Perl scripting in TeamSite is
required; WebSphere Portlet Factory and WebSphere Content Manager (WCM)
experience a plus; Demonstrated ability to plan, assign and review
technical and operational activities; Excellent oral and written
communication skills; Excellent human relations skills to maintain
constructive employee; Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to
facilitate and resolve complex business problems; Knowledge of PC and
productivity software - Email, MS Office, MS Project, Visio; Define a
problem solving approach for complex technical problems; Set priorities
within assignments or projects; Interpret operating policies, procedures,
rules and regulations; Out-of-town travel may be required. PGE is a
regional provider of electric power; May be required to travel within the
PGE service area and to its generation facilities; Occasional overnight
stays may be required; Expected travel would be no more than 10% of work
time; Valid driver's license is required.
