LiveFamily is looking for a product designer who can own the
user-experience design and visual design of all existing and new mobile
products and features.
Responsibilities:
. Own the design vision for the mobile products
. Hands on development of wireframes, user interaction diagrams and
finished designs ready to be consumed by the development team
. Quickly assess and execute creative solutions to challenging design
problems
. Spec out design work for developers
. Run the design process gathering feedback from the team and iterating to
refine the product
As this is a designer position that is heavily mobile related, applicants
should provide a link to their website or web portfolio to demonstrate a
web presence. Applicants without a web presence will not be considered.
Desired Experience and Qualities:
. Strong portfolio featuring examples of mobile platform-design work
. Proven experience designing for modern, highly interactive mobile
applications
. Experience crafting social interfaces
. Possess a strong, clean visual design sense with a focus on usability,
simplicity, and consistency
. Solid understanding of user-centered design principles
. Demonstrate extensive knowledge of mobile platforms, their limitations,
and features
. Ability to follow interface guidelines, style guides, and best practices
when designing for new platforms
. Comfort working in fast-moving, agile development environments
. Bachelor’s degree, preferred
