UO - Web Development Assistant (Eugene, OR)

Web Development Assistant Job Description (Student Assistant 3)

The Web Development Assistant will assist in the development, testing and
maintenance of the websites of the Center on Teaching and Learning under
the guidance and supervision of the CTL Web Developer. These websites use
the Drupal and Joomla content management systems. These websites include
informational websites, professional development and outreach websites, and
online e-learning websites.

Required traits:
. Comfortable working with HTML and CSS
. Experience or coursework with PHP, or another programming language
. Familiarity with Adobe Photoshop
. Strong writing skills and attention to detail

Additional desired traits:
. Experience with performing quality assurance testing of websites or
applications
. Experience using test automation tools such as Selenium
. Experience with the use of web content management systems
. Experience with learning management systems or e-learning systems such
as Moodle

Terms:
This position starts as soon as possible and may be extended through early
August, with the possibility of extending into the 2012-13 school year.
There are two half-time positions available (up to 20 hours).
