BLOUNT INTERNATIONAL will be conducting on-campus interviews on February 22, 2012 for their Information Technology paid summer internship which will be based in Portland, OR. INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY INTERN
Work with and support our IT team in the maintenance of hardware, software and other systems. You will get hands on IT applications and/or infrastructure experience and have a direct impact on Blount’s business.
This summer internship begins in mid-June, 2012 and ends in mid-September, 2012. As an IT Intern, you may be involved with any or all of the following:
• Working with the Technical Team to troubleshoot issues, either hardware or software related.
• Work with the SharePoint Administrator in the design, set-up, and testing of new sites.
• Work with the Application Group in the testing of new functionality.
• Research various information technology subjects to support key project for the company.
• Various administrative tasks dealing with project management, audit documentation, and License Compliance.

QUALIFICATIONS
• Junior or senior level college student with at least a 3.0 GPA who is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in CIS and math/CIS
