Lundquist College of Business - Student Web Developer (Eugene, OR)

Job Description:

The Student Web Developer troubleshoots, researches, corrects, and
documents technical issues with the Lundquist College of Business public
and internal websites; helps expand the depth and breadth of documentation
of the current web-based systems; and supports the transition to a new
website content management system.

Qualifications:

Strong experience with programming (PHP, ASP.NET C#, or similar
programming/scripting languages). Experience with HTML and CSS (knowledge
of HTML5/CSS3 a plus). Ability to respond in a professional and timely
manner to faculty and staff requests. Experience with Windows or Macintosh
OS X operating systems. Experience with SQL, My SQL, or other database
systems. Ability to pick up new technologies quickly. Ability to use
problem solving skills to quickly diagnose and resolve issues. Ability to
follow detailed written and verbal technical instructions. Must have good
communication skills and be able to explain concepts simply and
effectively.

This position is eligible for Non-Workstudy, UO Workstudy or Federal
Workstudy

Hours: 8-20 hours per week (negotiable, based on class schedule)
Hourly Wage: $12
Wage Category: Student Assistant 3 – $10.95-12.95
Hire Date: Spring Term
