Web Developer Job Overview:
Interface with the Design and Project Management Teams to develop integrated web applications in Django. Opportunities to branch out onto other projects and work in other technologies such as iOS, Android, and Java.

Requirements:

• An understanding of MVC frameworks
• Have a solid understanding of Object Oriented Programming and Database design
• Understand ER diagrams and have experience with SQL based relational database management system such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.
• Experience developing web applications using multiple languages and industry standard frameworks, like: JBoss/Seam, Spring, CakePHP, Django, GWT, backbone.js, etc.
• Familiarity with HTML, JavaScript and CSS
• Be able to adapt quickly to new technologies, frameworks and requirements
• Candidates must be eligible to work in the United States (citizenship, green card, visa, etc).
• Position is located in Eugene OR, sorry - no telecommuting
• Must be a conscientious team player with a *can-do* attitude

Strong plus / Success factors:

• BS in Computer Science, or a related discipline
• Expertise in Python/Django preferred, but not required
• Experience in Flash, Action Script and graphic design is a plus
• Self-Starter - ability to quickly learn new tools and products
• Excellent time management skills to multi-task across multiple simultaneous projects, tasks, product releases
• Action-oriented, detail centric, quality minded, have strong problem solving and critical thinking skills and ability to collaborate with others and handle multiple tasks
• Have a passion for software quality and take ownership of your work quality
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills as exemplified by clear issue explanations, documentation and effective intra- and inter-group communications
