POSITION SUMMARY: The Network Administrator supports County business
processes and technology infrastructure by providing complex administration
and engineering of the Local Area Network, Wide Area Network, Wireless
Networks and associated systems and security environment.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: A Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or
related field; AND
At least 5 years of progressively complex experience in a combination of:
network administration, systems analysis, database administration, systems
administration and/or email administration using industry‐standard tools
and protocols;
DESIRED EXPERIENCE: Cisco IOS experience and certifications preferred;
Experience in TCP, VLAN, Layer 3 switching, IP Telephony and Cisco Wireless
preferred.
