Entry-level Technical Specialist candidates will be identified during the
application process for final assignment in either IBM Software or IBM
Hardware Systems groups. Positions are located in major cities across the
US.

Software Specialists could work with any of the following brands either in
a mainframe (System z) or distributed software environment: Business
Intelligence, Lotus, Information Management, WebSphere, Tivoli, Rational.

Hardware Specialists could work with any of the following hardware brands:
Power Systems, System x, System z or Storage Systems.

During the first twelve months of this dynamic position as an Entry-level
Technical Specialist, you will be a trainee in the Sales & Distribution
(S&D) Summit Program. Your time as an S&D Summit Program Trainee will
consist of extensive technical training and shadowing, and consultative
sales training to enable you to match the technical capabilities of IBM
offerings to client requirements.



Qualifications:

Degree: BS or MS
Major Fields of Study:
Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Information
Technology, Information Systems, Software Engineering, Other Engineering
