Flux - Web Developer (Eugene, OR)

Flux, the School of Journalism and Communication’s flagship student-run
publication and media outlet, is hiring a web developer for spring term!

As a staff member at Flux, you’ll have the opportunity to work for an
award-winning student-run publication that reaches thousands of students
and hundreds of alumni. Your work will be seen by judges for prestigious
organizations such as the Columbia Scholastic Press Association, the
Associate Collegiate Press, and The American Society of Newspaper Editors.
This past November, in fact, Flux was honored with the Online Pacemaker
Award and named a Magazine Pacemaker Finalist by the Associated Collegiate
Press. Not only will working at a professional publication with an elite
staff of over 50 students look good on your resume, but you’ll also have
a portfolio piece to show potential employers.

Flux's website is built in Wordpress. Applicants should have experience
creating and/or editing Wordpress website themes, plugins, and widgets.
Position also requires a working knowledge of CSS, HTML, and Javascript. If
hired, applicant will be given creative freedom to work on special projects
and alter website (within reason). Visit our website here:
