Description:
We're looking for an experienced web developer that can shepherd a project through the entire development process. Candidates will need to be able to work in a fast-paced collaborative environment and effectively communicate with team members and management.

Here at Palo Alto Software, we focus on helping entrepreneurs succeed in business. We do this by offering tools, web sites, and software that helps entrepreneurs write business plans and get their businesses up and running.
You will be working on our web site network that attracts over 1 million visits each month. We are always adding new features, running A/B tests, and optimizing our e-commerce experience. We are in the early stages of redesigning and recoding one of our sites that gets more than a million visits per month.

Qualifications:
Strong, current knowledge of HTML/CSS/JavaScript development
Expert PHP knowledge and experience
Familiarity with CakePHP and jQuery
Great working knowledge of common object-oriented design patterns and architectures
Fluent in MySQL
Experience working with web services like REST
Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
Strong team player
Experience with Magento, Expression Engine, WordPress is a plus
4-year degree in computer science or other technical field preferred
