HIV Alliance - Web Intern (Eugene, OR)


Would you like to gain some valuable experience while making a difference in your community?  HIV Alliance is looking for an intern or volunteer to assist with our website, newsletter and widget and/or badge design. HIV Alliance is a local non-profit whose mission is supporting individuals living with HIV/AIDS and preventing new HIV infections.

We are looking for someone who can commit to a minimum of 5 hours per work for the school term and possibly beyond. Hours are flexible, and we are conveniently located very close to the UO campus. This is a non-paid position.  Please see the job description, below.

HIV Alliance Web Intern

 HIV Alliance is looking for a web intern to assist with our website, newsletter, and widget and/or badge design.

Intern Responsibilities:
Updating organizations websites
We are currently in the process of reorganizing the structure of our website. The intern will assist in this reorganization using Joomla, as well as regular content updates to the site.

Design and formatting newsletter:
Design a format for the organizations newsletter, and formatting submitted content to fit newsletter on a regular basis.

Widget/Badge design:
Assist in creating a widget and/or badge to be offered to other websites to link back to HIV Alliance.

Requirements:
Fluency in HTML/CSS
Experience with Joomla CMS
Experience with Jquery and building widgets a plus
