Branch PC Refresh Project- READ ME FIRST

This Read Me First Document is not intended to be all inclusive.  In
this document you will find important details and tips to make the
process go smooth.  Please read the entire install document, as well,
before arriving at the site for the install.

1.        RADIA STAGERS- You will have two Radia stagers at each branch.
These are regular platform machines with extra software installed.  The
existing Radia stagers should be clearly labeled on the PC and the new
Radia stager boxes should also be labeled clearly.

a.       Please take at least one Radia stager (both if possible) out of
the box and connect them to an open network drop.  You will return to
these PCs later.  They only need network and power connections at this
time.

b.      Always replace the old Radia Stager with a new Radia stager.
These are not interchangeable with the other platform areas.

2.       Replacing Teller PCs- There are detailed steps within the
install document on how to move the tellers around.  Following these
steps will ensure the cashbox is not locked.

a.       **Please check with the teller before locking down their PC to
ensure they have not been in IP mode.  If they have, the PC needs to be
online and all transactions posted properly before you can proceed with
the replacement.  This is very important.

3.       Testing of new PCs- The branch should FULLY TEST EVERY PC that
is installed before you leave the site.  This includes all types of
transactions and ensuring all software is available and working
properly.

a.       There's only one PC on the teller line that gets the Full
version of Office.  Let the support line know which PC this is so they
can install it.

b.      If the branch reports an issue with any software application,
please be sure to report that to the support line.  DO NOT have the
branch call the Helpdesk unless directed by the support line.  This
includes locked cashbox errors.

4.       RETURNING OLD PCs-  You are provided with two different return
labels.  One label is a label going to Regency.  This is our DISPOSAL
COMPANY.  The second label is to send the PC to the KeyBank REC.

a.       If you are boxing up PCs as you go, you may want to notate the
serial number of the PC on the outside of the box for easy
identification.

b.      It is EXTREMELY IMPORTANT that the correct label is put on the
boxes so we do not dispose of PCs that have life.  The vendor support
conference line will be able to provide you with the information
regarding the serial numbers and where the PC should be shipped.  If a
PC is sent for disposal, you may be held responsible for the loss.

c.       ALWAYS send HP 6000 and 6200 PCs to the KeyBank REC.

Thanks,
