Responsibilities
As an Entry Level Associate Software Engineer, you will assist with the
development, delivery and management of technology-based business solutions
to our clients across industry sectors. You may work on coding, testing and
implementing configuration changes; assist in the design of software
applications to meet both functional and technical requirements; or provide
project management support. As part of our global team, you'll work with
the latest software and leading-edge development tools-giving you the
opportunity to build specialist skills and expertise on the job.
You will be part of our global network of technology experts that provides
programming and technology implementation services across the entire range
of industry sectors on client sites. From application development and
architecture to software maintenance and systems administration, we help
turn innovation into effective technology solutions that enable clients to
become high-performance businesses and governments.
Entry Level Training Program
Entry Level Associate Software Engineers join as full-time employees and
are immediately enrolled in a four-week training class. The training
program is geared towards individuals starting their career in IT and
covers the latest, in-demand technologies, with a focus on Java. During the
training, you will deepen your technical skills and learn how to deliver
innovative solutions to clients. Combining computer based learning with
group interaction, this training is a great opportunity to learn and
network with other technology enthusiasts.
Must be currently located in Sacramento, CA or surrounding area.

Basic Qualifications:
* Bachelor Degree (with a graduation date no later than August 31, 2012)
* A track record of outstanding academic performance (2.8 or higher
cumulative GPA)
Our preferred majors are:
* Computer Science/Computer Engineering
* Information Systems
* Engineering (all disciplines)
Professional Skill Requirements:
* Solid foundation in software programming
* Strong Microsoft office skills, especially Excel and Visio
* Eagerness to contribute in a team-oriented environment
* Ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving
environment
* Desire to work in an information systems environment
* Strong oral and written communication skills.
Candidates who are currently employed by a client of Accenture or an
affiliated Accenture business may not be eligible for consideration.
