Job Description:

As part of the psychology department, our lab studies the social science
and neuroscience of positive emotions. We use methods such as behavioral
(reaction time) experiments, surveys and questionnaires, and brain imaging
(EEG and fMRI). The position involves developing quantitative
data-collection and analysis tools using various platforms to facilitate
this research.

The optimal candidate will have experience with MATLAB and JavaScript.
However, other relevant experience that makes you trainable with these
tools is also valued.

Position is for 5-15 hours per week, ideally with a two term commitment or
longer. You must be a student enrolled in 8+ credits.

Internship or other course credit may be available, please inquire.

Job location is on campus at the Lewis Integrative Science Building at
Agate and Franklin.

Qualifications:

Good communications skills and attention to detail are required. Ability to
work independently and with a group is important. Ability to flexibly adapt
to the varying demands of a research environment is valued. Experience with
JavaScript and/or MATLAB is preferred.
