Responsibilities 1) Develop C, C++, Visual Basic, and .net Windows software applications for real time control of laser module and laser measurement products. 2) Documents all design activities (generates design specifications, theory of operations, test reports, etc.). 3) Provide engineering support for existing Windows software applications. Work on upgrading legacy software for new releases of MS Windows operating system. 4) Other software design responsibilities may be added in the future as business conditions evolve. Personal Characteristics 1) Strong “hands on” programming skills 2) Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Education and Work Experience:	Required Background and Education 1) Currently pursuing a B.S. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering (Junior or Senior preferred) a) Design of MS Windows applications (XP, Vista, 7, 8) b) Familiarity with MS Windows operating systems (XP, Vista, 7, 8) c) C, C++, and .net programming in MS Visual Studio d) Familiarity or interest in learning embedded operating systems (such as Windows CE and Android) e) Some basic electronics test equipment knowledge is required. Familiarity with oscilloscopes, waveform generators, logic analyzers, etc.
